Alpinia zerumbet or shell ginger is now on my list of flowers that lasts well in water. I can’t speak to it in foam but that’s ok I like vases, especially pottery, upcycled vases, jars and recyclable containers. This arrangement was made from winter flowering shell ginger flowers, cordylines and heliconias.
